Tuition & Payments

At Taupou Ma LeAloali’i we aim to keep our programs affordable and accessible to all families, while honoring the time and expertise of our cultural instructors.

$15 per student per month

$35 per student per season Registration

Practice Uniform is separate bundled in shirt & lavalava

Workshops are completely separate, active students receive a 10% discount

Because our tuition and costs are already the lowest around not taking into consideration the expertise and time of our instructors. We do not offer a sibling discount. We do however offer Scholarships & Sponsorships.

Tuition may be paid:

  • Online - PayPal/Venmo/Cash App/Zelle

  • In Person - Cash

Late Payment Policy

Payments are due by the first of each month

A grace period of 5 days is allowed

After 5 days a late fee of $10 will be applied per student

Your tuition supports our instructor, supplies, cultural programming and upkeep of our siva academy and anything that supports the learning and growth of our academy.

By enrolling in Taupou Ma LeAloali’i Siva Academy, you agree to follow this Code of Conduct and support it’s implementation in every aspect of the program. This ensures we maintain a positive, safe, and respectful enviornment for all students and their families.

⚖️ Liability Waiver

By enrolling your child in Taupou Ma LeAloali’i Siva Academy, your acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • General Release of Liability

    • You understand that participation in dance classes, performances, and related activities involves physical movement and carriers inherent risks, including but not limited to injuries.

  • You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the academy, its staff, volunteers, and any affiliated organizations from any and all claims, damages, injuries, or losses arising from your child’s participation in the academy’s activities.

  • Medical Emergencies

    • In the event of a medical emergency, if we cannot reach a parent or guardian, you give permission for the academy staff to seek medical treatment for your child.

    • You agree to assume all medical expenses in the event of an accident or injury.

  • Assumption of Risk

    • You acknowledge that you are fully aware of the potential risks involved in dance and other physical activities, and by allowing your child to participate, you assume these risks.

  • Physical & Emotional Health

    • You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to inform the academy of any health or physical conditions that may affect your child’s ability to participate.

    • You understand that the academy will take reasonable steps to provide a safe and supportive environment for all dancers.

At Taupou Ma LeAloali’i Siva Academy, we believe that consistent attendance is key to a successful dance journey. Your commitment ensures that every dancer receives the full benefit of the program and upholds the values of discipline, respect, and cultural pride.

Regular Participation

Excused Absences - Please let us know if your child will miss. We do understand emergencies happen.

Dress Rehearsals are mandatory if you miss without notification you will not be able to participate in that performance.

At Taupou Ma LeAloali’i Siva Academy, we uphold the values of respect, discipline, and community as the foundation of our program. Our Code of Conduct is designed to create a positive and supportive learning environment for every student, instructor, and family member.

🌺Expectation for Students

  • Respect for Self and Others

    • Treat classmates, instructors, and elders with respect and kindness.

    • Honor the culture of Samoa by upholding the traditions and customs we teach.

    • Treat all spaces (studio, performance areas, and community events) with care and respect.

  • Punctuality & Attendance

    • Arrive on time for every class and performance

    • Notify the academy in advance if you miss (please refer to our Attendance Policy.

  • Active Participation

    • Be engaged during every lesson, giving your best effort.

    • Come prepared with practice uniform and a positive attitude.

    • Be open to learning and improving both technical skills and cultural understanding.

  • Respectful Behavior

    • Maintain a positive attitude toward criticism and correction from instructors.

    • Refrain from disruptive behavior during classes and performances.

    • Bullying or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

  • Personal Responsibility

    • Take care of your personal belongings. The academy is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

    • Follow safety guidelines during practice and performances to avoid injuries.

  • Support Your Child’s Commitment

    • Encourage your child to attend classes regularly and to arrive on time.

    • Ensure your child practices their dance routines at home and is prepared for performances.

  • Respect for the Academy

    • Treat instructors, staff, and fellow parents with the utmost respect.

    • Uphold the values of Fa’a Samoa (the Samoan Way) in all interactions, whether in the studio, at events, or online.

  • Engagement with the Program

    • Attend parent meetings and open practice days when possible.

    • Stay informed by reading communication from the academy and participation in volunteer opportunities.

  • Constructive Feedback

    • If you have any concerns, please address them directly with the Director or Instructors in a respectful and professional manner.

  • Respect for Policies

    • Abide by all policies, including those regarding tuition payments, attendance, and performance participation.

📸 Media Release

As part of your child’s involvement with Taupou Ma LeAloali’i Siva Academy, we may take photographs, video recordings, and other media of your child during classes, rehearsals, and performances. These media are often used for educational purposes, cultural promotion, and academy marketing.

  • Media Usage Permission

    • You grant permission for your child’s images, videos, and performances to be used for the following:

      • Academy Social Media Channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)

      • Website and Newsletters

      • Printed Materials (flyers, brochures, posters)

      • Public Performances (as part of our cultural and community outreach)

  • Right to Opt-Out

    • If you do not consent to your child’s image or video being used in promotional material, please inform the academy in writing prior to enrollment.

    • The Academy will make reasonable efforts to respect your wishes, but please note that some media may already have been captured before your opt-out notice.

  • No Compensation

    • You understand and agree that no compensation will be provided for the use of images or videos of your child in promotional materials.
